Stephen

Stephen Porter has been a guide since 2004. He started in Vail, Colorado and quickly grew to love the sport. When he's not dog-sledding, he is an alpine and cross-country skier. He's also a volunteer for the Fire Department, and the food bank, and supports skiing for needy kids.

Danielle

Danielle Porter is an outdoor enthusiast, dog lover and Mother to three beautiful children. She is a volunteer for the local food bank. When she's not busy running teams or in the office, you can find her running barefoot on cross-country trails.

Treatment Policy

At Priest Lake Huskies, we love our dogs! They are our family. We personally promise all dog lovers, we are committed to caring for them in an ethical, loving way. We make sure they get:

  • Daily off-leash time, so they can play and exercise with their friends.
  • Proper medical care.
  • Plenty of food and fresh water daily.
  • Occasional treats and fresh meat.
  • One-on-one, human affection, and connection, every day.
  • Cleaned
  • Warm, fresh straw bedding.

They had fun working hard on the trail, when they retire, they get to retire in style! We have a no-kill policy when they retire.
